Our Story
Saladin Prep has been established as Edmonton's premier holistic basketball prep academy for both male and female basketball players and is the first of its kind to focus on basketball players' holistic well-being, development and success. Since its inception in 2021, the program has achieved a high level of success, sending multiple players to post secondary institutions to study and play basketball, including universities and professional clubs in Europe. In addition to basketball, we have developed a Graduating for Success Coaching Program, in which we work with both the athletes and their schools to ensure that athletes can get into university based on their academic merits as well. As teachers and coaches, post secondary education is of the utmost importance to us and we want every athlete to be able to go to university, regardless of basketball, so this program was needed to help secure the future of all of our athletes.
